The Fordson Model N was the most common tractor used during Britain's wartime "ploughing campaigns". In addition to farm work, the tractors were used on RAF airfields to tow fuel bowsers, bomb trolleys, and aircraft. On the Mackenzie croft, the tractor has been a workhorse during harvesting!

The filming may have taken all day for our short appearance towards the end of this episode but it was a fantastic experience and gave us a glimpse in to what happens behind the scenes in the production of our favourite TV series! The Citreon was of course the real star.

The 21st Fortrose & Rosemarkie Classic Vehicle Rally was held at King George V Sports Field, within the historic Royal Burgh of Fortrose Saturday on 30th August 2025. Culburnie Classic Cars rolled up at the event start point, Dingwall Auction Mart, with two cars from our collection - Citroen Traction Light 15 and Rover 95.

Citroën Traction artwork refers to a wide range of artistic depictions, from detailed technical drawings to expressive paintings and pop art prints, that feature the iconic Citroën Traction Avant car. Our love for the Traction, has fuelled our interest in its artwork and we have a collection of memorabilia around the house!

This project evolved from the idea to create a digital family album based on the Classic Cars hobby of the Mackenzie clan, to share stories about their classic collection with friends and family - and other Classic Car fans.
