Bringing Our Classic Cars to Life Digitally

This project evolved from an idea to create a digital family album based on our Classic Cars Collection, to share memories and stories with friends and family - and other Classic Car enthusiasts - but most of all as a tribute to the ‘old man’, Thomas ‘the Guy’ Mackenzie, who started it all and who’s passion is one embraced by the whole Mackenzie clan.

Culburnie Classic Cars
Classic cars can tell their own story but dad brings them to life with his own unique recollections and funny stories. This project simply brings them to life and immortalise them for others to share and enjoy.
— John Mackenzie (eldest son).

British Racing Green is a favourite colour of father and son and so it seemed fitting that this quintessentially classic car colour should feature in the Culburnie Classic Car logo and website colour palette.

With so many old hard copy photos of people and cars lost in drawers and later digital ones lost in virtual space, it is simply fitting that this Culburnie Classic Car project captures the best of our car collection, to be preserved for others to see.

First step was a name for the website…

Next step was a logo and some colours which of course had to include Racing Green!
